A Garden Planet

This terms unit is titled “The Garden Planet”
This unit provides opportunities for the students to investigate different types of gardens, with a focus on the role of planned and natural gardens. Our case studies will be Parramatta Lake and Rosella Park gardens. Through this unit the students will develop an understanding of the fragile nature of garden ecosystems and their personal responsibility to be stewards; preserving, respecting and utilizing this resource. The students will be growing seeds, making paper, creating gardens (both planned and natural) as well as many more exciting learning opportunities.
